It’s easy to think we’ve got it all figured out. We see what we think is injustice and we believe that the wrong should be made right and the guilty punished. But most of us aren’t so quick to come to this conclusion regarding our own sins. We compare our wrongdoings to those of people who do things we consider to be worse, and we excuse our sin as if it shouldn’t count. But we’re wrong.
