Every time the disciples thought they had Jesus figured out, He threw them a curve ball. Even though they had been with Him almost every waking hour for three years, they were still discovering how much more there was to learn during His final days on Earth. They gave their lives to follow Him and to lead others to Him. Imagine their amazement to learn that the Son of God had not come to be served...but to serve!
